JUNIOR CALYPSO COMPETITION -  27-07-2005

The Semifinals of the Junior Calypso Competition took place on Tuesday July 26^th, with eighteen (18) future stars facing the judges. On Saturday July 30^th nine (9) of these Junior Calypsonians will compete at the Children’s Carnival Frolic for the title of Junior Calypso Monarch.

The nine (9) Junior Finalists are:

9)      Larria Alexander

The Children’s Carnival Frolic will take place this Saturday at the Tanteen Netball Court starting at 1pm.  The admission is $10 Adults and $5 Children.

The Parade of the Junior Bands will begin at 11:00am in front of the Financial Complex and proceed along the Carenage unto the Tanteen Top Road to the Tanteen Netball Court.

The Children’s Carnival Frolic will also feature a Junior Panorama Competition and Junior Pageant.

Additionally, the young ones in attendance will be entertained by the appearance of Cartoon Characters including the Power Puff Girls. Grenada Cablevision Ltd. has teamed up with the Cartoon Network to provide this bonus attraction to the Children’s Carnival Frolic.
