The Grenada Carnival Committee in its continuing efforts to
improve the adjudication process of Calypso and Soca will be hosting
another Judges Workshop. The Workshop will take place on Saturday June
24th starting at 10am at the Conference Room of the Melville Street Fish
Market.
At the end of the workshop there will be an evaluation process to
determine the Judges best qualified to adjudicate for the upcoming
Calypso and Soca season.
The Workshop will be facilitated by Mr. Eric Taylor, known in the
calypso arena as Pink Panther. Mr. Taylor has won the National Calypso
Monarch and Young Kings Monarch in Trinidad and Tobago in 1992. He is
the Vice President of the Trinidad United Calypsonians Organization (TUCO).
The Grenada Carnival Committee extends an invitation to all interested
persons including Artistes to attend the Workshop.
