The preliminary stage of the 2009 Calypso competition begins this Wednesday, July 15th   with the Zingo-led North West Brigade. Over 70 Artistes will face the judges over the next 7 days with calypso action in St. Andrew, St. George’s, St. Patrick and St. David.

The Grenada Carnival Committee would like to encourage all to take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy quality Grenadian music up close and intimately. The admission to all the shows are very affordable and the entertainment value high.
