GCC Extends an Invitation to Tender for Provision of Services to Spicemas 2011

The Grenada Carnival Committee (GCC) is inviting the submission of tenders for the provision of services for Spicemas 2011

As detailed in an Invitation to Tender (ITT) document and according to specifications in any/all appendices attached thereto.

Invitations to Tender (ITT) documents, which outline the needs of the GCC for the indicated services, will be available at the Office of the Grenada Cultural Foundation from Monday, April 4th 2011. These documents can also be downloaded from the GCC’s website (www.spicemasgrenada.com).

The tendering process will be open and is designed to improve transparency and ensure that the most economically advantageous partnerships are fostered.

Prospective Tenderers are strongly advised to study and note very carefully the
requirements of the Invitation to Tender (ITT) document and the details of the accompanying Appendices. This invitation does not bind the GCC or its Members to proceeding with the acquisition of all of the outlined services.

The Invitations to Tender is for the provision of the following services:

• Light and Sound for Carnival City, the prelude to Spicemas 2011
• Stage, Light and Sound for the Quarter Final of the Soca Monarch competition
• Stage, Light and Sound for the Preliminary of the Calypso Monarch competition
• Stage, Light and Sound for the Semifinals of the Soca and Calypso Monarch competitions
• Security Services for the Semifinals of the Soca and Calypso Monarch competitions
• Security Services for ALL GCC shows on the Finals’ Weekend: Majestic Thursday, Bacchanal Friday, Pantastic Saturday and Dimanche Gras
• Backing Band for the Semifinals of the Soca and Calypso Monarch competitions
• Backing Band for the Finals of the Soca and Calypso Monarch competitions
• Resident DJ for ALL GCC shows on the Finals’ Weekend: Majestic Thursday, Bacchanal Friday, Pantastic Saturday and Dimanche Gras
• Producer for the National Queen Show on Majestic Thursday
• Producer for the Soca Monarch Competition on Bacchanal Friday
• Producer for the Panorama Championship on Pantastic Saturday
• Producer for the King & Queen of the Bands and Calypso Monarch competitions at Dimanche Gras

Interested Service Providers will have until April 30th 2011 to submit tenders.
