Miss Shereen Parris

Parish Of St. David

Age: 24 years old

Biography: Christine Katusha Shereen Parris was born on August 25, 1986 to Evadney and Thomas Parris, who raised Shereen and her older brother Christopher with staunch Christian beliefs and a tendency for merriment and steadfastness, which significantly attribute to their well-rounded growth and development.

Shereen attended Winlyn’s Junior School before attending the St.David’s Catholic Secondary School (S.D.C.S.S). She graduated in 2005 from the T.A Marryshow Community College (T.A.M.C.C) with an Associate Degree in Business, and now presently attends the St.George’s University School of Arts and Science pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Economics/Finance.
Her dedication to hard work is not limited to only the academic aspects of life, she lent herself greatly to her passion for human and social development by championing various charitable causes by being a member of the St.George’s Leo Club Grenada.

She participated in the Junior Calypso Monarch and many other cultural events during my years at S.D.C.S.S. This gave her a national sense of pride and interest in the diversity of her unique and rich culture here in Grenada.

Represented New Westerhall in 2004 in Ms. St.David Queen Show and in 2006 represented the parish of St.David in Miss Spicy Grenada.

She believes that the ideology of Spicemas National Carnival Queen Show Pageant is to promote friendship and goodwill throughout the tri-island state, and maybe if more were aware and open to the ease of this ability, this country may be a different place.

Ms. Shereen Parris will like to leave you with these few words, with God all things are possible.Today, no matter what you may be facing, focus on moving forward. He has already ordered your steps and arranged good things for you. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep hoping because there is favor in store for your future!
